Learning for Life Made Fun!!

Updates Coming Soon!

Fire Service Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who have completed the eighth grade and are 14 years of age, or 15 years of age but have not yet reached their 21st birthday.

Fire Service Explorer posts help youth gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of fire service, Exploring offers experiential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.

Gain first-hand knowledge how stimulating the firefighters trade is by working alongside with actual Love Volunteer Firefighters.  Following a 3 Step basic training program, Fire Explorers respond to real emergencies with firefighters and paramedics, and assist them by performing routine, supervised tasks.  Fire Explorers assist with virtually all routine tasks in the community and around the fire station, including community relations, fire prevention, equipment and station maintenance, and training.

Fire Explorers are provided with helmets, turnouts, and other safety clothing.  They are welcomed members of the fire stations where they volunteer.

Becoming a Fire Explorer is an excellent way to develop qualities and gain experience that will be helpful in nearly any field of endeavor.
